New state law on unemployment benefits doesn’t comply with federal law, By Richard Craver, July 16, 2013, Winston-Salem Journal: “State legislators will have to make changes to the recently signed law that cuts state unemployment benefits after the U.S. Labor Department said some parts are not in compliance with federal law.
