States gaining speed on minimum wage faster than Obama, By Aamer Madhani, February 4, 2014, USA Today: “President Obama faces a difficult path in his push to raise the federal minimum wage, but workers and lawmakers have gained momentum on the state level on the issue that will remain front-and-center throughout much of the country in 2014. More than 30 states are set to consider legislation or ballot measures to hike the minimum wage in the coming months.
