Uninsured rate for young Minn. adults drops to 17%, By Jeremy Olson, March 6, 2012, Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune: “The number of young adults with health insurance rose sharply in Minnesota in 2011, but that is the one glimmer in an otherwise disappointing new review of the state’s coverage levels. Despite an improving economy, the rate of uninsured Minnesotans remained around 9 percent in 2009 and 2011 — up from 7 percent earlier in the decade, according to a biennial state Health Department survey.
