Poverty and Ohio’s kids delineated in report, By Rita Price, September 8, 2014, Columbus Dispatch: “Kids in Delaware County live in the state’s wealthiest households, while those in heavily Amish Holmes County are least likely to be born underweight. Fourth-graders in northwestern Ohio’s rural Paulding County fare best on state reading tests, and children in Appalachian Jackson County suffer the highest poverty rates.
